In alignment with the Tamil Nadu Government's ambitious One Crore Palm Tree Project, our Trust has been actively involved in this massive green initiative. Over 60,000 Palm Tree Seeds have been planted across various regions already. 🌱🌴
Palm trees are native to Tamil Nadu and play a crucial role in preventing soil erosion, protecting coastlines, and providing livelihood to local communities. This project aims to restore the ecological glory of the state tree and combat climate change effectively.
Ceremonies and plantation drives were held with the participation of local leaders and enthusiastic volunteers. Certificates were distributed to honor the contribution of those involved in this historic initiative.
பசுமை இயக்கம்: ஒரு கோடி பனை மரம் நடும் திட்டம் – ஏற்கனவே 60,000 பனை விதைகள் நடப்பட்டுள்ளன. 🌱🌴 தமிழக அரசின் லட்சியத் திட்டமான “ஒரு கோடி பனை மரம் நடும் திட்டத்துடன்” இணைந்து, எங்கள் அறக்கட்டளை இந்த மாபெரும் பசுமைப் பணியில் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது. இதுவரை 60,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பனை விதைகள் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் நடப்பட்டுள்ளன. பனை மரங்கள் தமிழ்நாட்டின் பாரம்பரிய சின்னம் மட்டுமல்லாமல், மண் அரிப்பைத் தடுப்பதிலும், நிலத்தடி நீரைப் பாதுகாப்பதிலும் முக்கியப் பங்கு வகிக்கின்றன. இந்தத் திட்டம் மாநிலத்தின் சுற்றுச்சூழல் சமநிலையைப் பாதுகாப்பதை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. உள்ளூர் தலைவர்கள் மற்றும் தன்னார்வலர்களின் பங்கேற்புடன் இந்த இயக்கம் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
